✈️ Flight Information

Are international flights included?

  • No, international flights are not included in the tour price and must be arranged separately. If you’d like help researching flights, please don't hesitate to contact us at hello@yaluu.com.au.

Which airport should I fly into and out of?

  • All guests should arrive and depart via Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) in Colombo.

Are airport transfers included?

  • Yes. Complimentary airport transfers are provided at the start and end of each tour.

  • Please note that transfers are only between the airport and Yaluu’s selected accommodations.

🏨 Accommodation

What type of hotels are included?

  • We partner with well-reviewed 4-star hotels offering great locations, comfort, and hospitality. In areas without 4-star options, we book the best available alternatives. Some adventure tours may also feature premium tented camps to enhance the experience.

Can I book a private room?

  • Yes. While all tours are based on twin-share accommodation with a same-gender traveller, private rooms can be requested for an additional supplement.

💳 Booking & Payments

How do I book a tour?

  • You can reserve your spot by contacting us via our website or emailing hello@yaluu.com.au. Once your tour is confirmed, we’ll issue an invoice for secure payment.

Is the deposit refundable?

  • Deposits are non-refundable but fully transferable to a future Yaluu trip if you can’t travel as planned.

What are the payment terms?

  • A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required at the time of booking.

  • The remaining balance is due 30 days before departure.

  • If you’re booking within 30 days of travel, full payment is required upfront.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

If you cancel your trip:

  • More than 30 days prior: Deposit is retained, balance refunded.

  • 15–30 days prior: 50% of the tour price refunded.

  • Less than 15 days: No refund.

  • If we cancel the tour: You’ll receive a full refund, including your deposit, in case of cancellation due to unforeseen events (e.g. weather, road closures).

  • Refunds are processed within 14 days via your original payment method.

Do I need a visa for Sri Lanka?

  • Yes. Most travellers need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) and a passport valid for at least six months beyond travel dates. Please check your country’s current visa requirements.

Are vaccinations required?

  • We recommend checking with your doctor for up-to-date travel health advice. Vaccines for hepatitis, typhoid, and tetanus are commonly suggested.
